Notebook doodles

While I am always  drawing plans and diagrams, it has been a while since I doodled in my sketchbook during classes. Today, as we were presented with Eastern European animation, I felt inspired by this heroic figure.

This is János Vitéz—or Johnny Corncob—as animated by Marcell Jancovics.

This head was one of the many surreal elements animated in Lucy in the Sky, the Beatles song animated in the movie Yellow Submarine.

I could not find the exact screenshot that inspired my doodle, but this one was close enough.
